Have to say this is one of the best ramen shop in Portland metro area. I really love the interior decoration in the small ramen shop. It definitely gives me lots of nostalgic vibes. I can feel the love from the owner in this shop. I ordered the curry ramen which recommended by the lovely waitress, I believe her name is Jasmine, forgive me if I remember it wrong. And she was nice enough to give some spicy sauce on the side incase I want to add to the ramen. The ramen tastes really good, full of flavors and the broth thick and rich. Definitely gonna come for the black garlic ramen from the menu.
This is a restaurant I often pass by on my way to Washington square, but never gotten the chance to try until recently! The inside of the place is super decorated and cute! I went on a Friday night and got myself onto their waitlist, I was able to get a spot within 10 minutes! The place itself isn't super big but it has a lot of seating. Got my order taken and was able to get my ramen pretty quickly! I got myself the black garlic ramen with the pork belly, it was super flavorful and tasty. It definitely is a heavier ramen and is oily, but is tasty! I would recommend this spot and would love to visit again. I wanted to try their pudding but it was not available when I visited, so I will have to visit again sometime to try it.
The food here is amazing, even as a person who doesn't eat ramen much I really enjoy the ramen here. The veggie broth is the best and if you are more of a pork broth person I highly recommend the Red Miso Deluxe. Service is very quick and friendly. The interior is very aesthetic it's like you kind of stepped into a Japanese video game or manga. Highly recommend!
So I thought I've reviewed Fuddo before but I can do it again and again and again! They are legit. It gets busy and for good reason. The broth is out of this world and staff is usually crankin' out those orders. I love the Japanese decor and of course they have a robot appropriately named Fuddo who delivers food! I've been coming here since pre-COVID and this is one of my top places to eat in Beaverton.
The food was good but the experience was an overstimulating nightmare. Positives first: The ramen was great. A broth that was both savory and light at the same time Unfortunately: This place is overwhleming. Very loud and visually busy. There were only uncomfortable benches with no backs to the chair. Combined with the overstimulating interior this made for an unpleasant experience. Nothing I couldn't personally handle but good to know if someone in your group might struggle with that. We probably won't be back but that doesn't mean you shouldn't. It really is a great spot.
